Master This Skill to Improve Your Water Blinds & Marks
In this webinar, I discuss a critical skill for advanced water work - the stall.
Definition: Stall - The act of stopping and turning to face the handler while treading water. To do so without drifting forward, drifting laterally, or turning to go before the cast.
Why is it Important? - A dog must be calm, confident, and compliant in the water to understand the training and be successful in situations involving complex water retrieves. Without a proper stall, communicating this information is nearly impossible.
